Come test your luck again this year at the fishing derby! A Family event, May 17th, 8AM, Maynard Rod and Gun Club, 45 Old Mill Road, Maynard. Bring your fishing rod, bait and your good luck!

Memorial Day parade

Come join the Memorial Day parade!

Scouts should march in uniform if possible. Older kids gather at Rugged Bear to March the entire Route to Town Center around 8:30/9:00. Younger kids can meet at the Our Lady of Fatima parking lot around 9:30/10:00.

(Warning: Concord Rd and part of Rte 20 will be closed for the parade at some point.)

The total route is between a mile and a mile and a half, but there is a stop for each war and major conflict in our country's history, and some of the younger kids can't handle all that stopping and waiting. (The Native American Veterans' ceremony at the town ceremony is usually quite moving if someone is looking for a half-way point.) At Town Ctr there are hot dogs/burgers and soda available, and eventually some songs and ceremonies if anyone wants to hang around.

September 29th camp-out at Resolute

Here is a general list of supplies that each family will be responsible for providing on the September 29th camp-out at Resolute.

Here is the Family Camping Schedule. Dinner and breakfast will be served. Please carpool as the parking lot is not very large:

• 3PM Arrival Arrival at Camp Resolute – “The Plains” – see directions below
• 3:45 – 5:00 Scavenger Hunt/Knots
• 5:15 – 6:15 Dinner - Hot Dogs, watermelon
• 6:15 - 6:45 Clean up
• 6:45-7:30 Campfire/Pack Meeting/Welcome of Tigers
• 7:30 Departure for those that are not staying overnight
• 7:30-9 Hike or Storytelling at the Campfire or in your tents
• 9:00 pm Lights out

Camp Resolute is on Rte 85 in Bolton, Mass about ¼ mile before you get to Rte 117 on the left. Location on Google maps:

Once you have parked your car, proceed to the gate. Walk straight up the dirt road, past the waterfront area on you left and the amphitheater on your right until you reach the dining hall. At the dining hall, the road forks; stay to the left. The pond will be on your left and the volleyball court will be on your right. About 100 yards from the dining hall you will come to a large open field on the left. This is “The Plains” where we will be camping. We will try to organize the camping areas by den so that your group can stay together.
