June Informal Pack Meetings

Make it if you are around. Attend one Pack meeting each Summer month and earn a badge.

Collings Foundation open house. If you thought that the USS Massachusetts was cool, you will love this. Lots of restored aircraft to view in a rare open house. See website for more details.

Rocket Shoot with Central Mass Spacemodeling Society (CMASS). June 28th. I have a dozen Estes rockets to share and enough engines for every scout in our Pack to launch once. You can bring your own rockets and engines as well, or you can just watch. Webelos can work on their
Scientist achievement. Please come between 11-1 for launching. You can
stay longer to watch, but another Pack has the launch priority then.
This will be at Davis field, and look for the Pack flag. This event is weather dependent. If it is rainy, check the banner on the website http://www.cmass.org/ at 8AM for launch status.

Battleship Cove Sleepover Sign Up

Dear Den Leaders:

In December we told the parents we would begin the sign-ups for the Battleship Cove Sleepover in January, which has become February. Sign ups will occur next Monday, February 11th and I expect the trip will sell out on Monday night.

Can you please email this flyer to your den parents today, so that they are prepared to sign up for the Battleship Cove Sleepover when they come to the pack meeting on Monday night.

As sign-up really means 'give Ivan a check for $47 for each attendee made out to Sudbury Pack 60' I want to send out the flyer in advance so that people check their diaries and bring their check book on Monday night.

Many thanks

Ivan O'Sullivan
