<p>1. Scouting for Food.  Please distribute bags for food donations the week of Oct. 31.  Donations will be collected on Saturday morning, Nov. 5 at the Pack cleanup.<br />
2. Pack Cleanup at the Sudbury United Methodist Church (SUMC).  Please be there at 8:30 AM sharp, and we will help with the ourdoor cleanup at the SUMC until 10:30 or so.<br />
3. Pack Meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 15.  The usual time and place (6:45 PM at the SUMC).  The theme will be &#8220;First Aid&#8221; led by pack parent Dr. Benjamin Schneider.</p>
<p>Finally, I&#8217;d like to ask all scouts and dens to think about what you can do for your community during service month.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It’s time for our first Pack meeting/Event of the 2011-2012 scouting year, our annual Pack camp out which will be held on September 17 at the Nobscot Scout Reservation in Sudbury.</p>

4:00 – 5:00 Scavenger Hunt<br />
5:00 – 6:15 Dinner (Provided)<br />
6:15 – 6:45 Clean up<br />
6:45 – 7:30 Campfire/Pack Meeting/Welcome of Tigers<br />
7:30 Departure for those that are not staying overnight<br />
7:30-9 Hike or Storytelling at the Campfire or in your tents<br />
9:00 pm Lights out<br />
Sunday:</p>
<p>8:00 am Light Breakfast (provided)<br />
9:00 Break Camp<br />
10:00 am Leave Camp<br />
Directions to Camp Nobscot:</p>
<p>Camp Nobscot is on Nobscot Road on the Sudbury/Framingham line. On Google map. Park and follow signs to Ellisland.</p>
<p>We will try to organize the camping areas by den so that your group can stay together.</p>
<p>Remember: A scout is always prepared!</p>

We will arrive at the Maynard Rod and Gun Club ( 45 Old Mill Road in Maynard) for our campfire and campout on the afternoon of Friday, June 17.  We can begin setting up camp at 4:30 PM with the campfire/awards being held at approximately 6:45.  Grilling is encouraged!</p>
<p>Fishing in the adjacent pond is the next morning, Saturday, June 18.  We will plan on having our camp cleaned up and vacated by noon on Saturday.</p>
<p>More details will follow, but please mark these dates down in your calendars.</p>
